We recently renovated our 1961 Vancouver Special to a bright, modern craftsman home with all the latest amenities and comforts after employing MDM Harp Contracting. It was a big undertaking to transform our living space into a place that we are pleased to show to all our friends.

Evan has excellent communication skills with everyone involved during the project: owners, designers, sub trades and suppliers. He is friendly and easy to talk to while resolving any design issues. He managed to maintain the original budget of the project with no unexpected surprises and skillfully managed the sub trades to coordinate their time onsite when necessary. Evan ensures everything is exactly correct and to our satisfaction before considering it completed.

Evan Gallagher was our contractor for our kitchen renovation last summer, which involved completely gutting the old kitchen and installing new everything. We had never heard of a kitchen reno that went ‘according to plan’ - there were always delays, cost overruns, disagreements with the trades, etc. Now we can say we know of at least one!
Our renovation went exactly as Evan predicted it would, and within budget. Evan was always pleasant, professional and punctual. He knew exactly what he was doing and wrangled the trades, making sure they did what they were supposed to do, when they were supposed to do it. When one contractor was unable to delivery our counter-top on time, Evan found someone who could. And Evan is a skilled worker, able to perform some of the work himself and keep costs in line.
We’re thrilled with the end product and very happy we chose Evan Gallagher as our contractor. We plan to use him for our up-coming bathroom renovation.
