PROJECT MANAGER

Evan Gallagher

Evan immigrated to Canada from Ireland. Growing up in a small town in Ireland, He learned the value of community which he continues to draw on in his work. Evan believes that creating the perfect home is not only about knowledge and experience, but also about getting to know their clients and understating their individual needs.

Evan has years of experience working in the construction industry and is educated in architecture, in both Ireland and in Edinburgh Scotland. Since immigrating to Canada, he has gained experience in construction, both on site and in an architectural design environment. His background allows him to have hands on experience as well as more creative diversity in his work. Evan prides himself in his communication with his clients and in keeping up to date on the latest in building technology.

PROJECT MANAGER

John Meaney

John Meaney is a seasoned construction general contractor with 40 years of experience in the industry. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation for managing a wide range of construction projects, from residential homes to large-scale commercial developments.

Known for his expertise in project management, budgeting, and site supervision, John has successfully overseen the construction of numerous buildings, ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

John’s hands-on approach and deep understanding of construction techniques have earned him the respect of clients, subcontractors, and colleagues alike. Throughout his career, John has remained committed to delivering reliable, durable, and cost-effective solutions, making him a trusted name in the field.

We recently renovated our 1961 Vancouver Special to a bright, modern craftsman home with all the latest amenities and comforts after employing MDM Harp Contracting. It was a big undertaking to transform our living space into a place that we are pleased to show to all our friends.

He managed to maintain the original budget of the project with no unexpected surprises and skillfully managed the sub trades to coordinate their time onsite when necessary. Evan ensures everything is exactly correct and to our satisfaction before considering it completed.

Evan Gallagher was our contractor for our kitchen renovation last summer, which involved completely gutting the old kitchen and installing new everything. We had never heard of a kitchen reno that went ‘according to plan’ - there were always delays, cost overruns, disagreements with the trades, etc. Now we can say we know of at least one!

Our renovation went exactly as Evan predicted it would, and within budget. Evan was always pleasant, professional and punctual. He knew exactly what he was doing and wrangled the trades, making sure they did what they were supposed to do, when they were supposed to do it. When one contractor was unable to delivery our counter-top on time, Evan found someone who could. And Evan is a skilled worker, able to perform some of the work himself and keep costs in line.

We’re thrilled with the end product and very happy we chose Evan Gallagher as our contractor. We plan to use him for our up-coming bathroom renovation.
